Anton Ferdinand says he would take Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling to the Euros if he were Gareth Southgate.
The England manager has left Raheem Sterling out of his last two squads, but Ferdinand, speaking on FIVE, wants to see the 28-year-old in Germany next year.
He has impressed for Chelsea this season, scoring a goal and winning a penalty in the Blues’ 4-1 win against Burnley before the international break.

His strike at Turf Moor was his third in the Premier League this term.
Raheem Sterling has to go to the Euros
For Ferdinand, Sterling needs to be on the plane to Germany next summer.
Discussing the England international on FIVE, the former defender said: “I’m taking Raheem Sterling. Tournament football, he’s proven. I’d play him on the left, [Bukayo] Saka on the right.”
Gareth Southgate likely to take Raheem Sterling to Germany?
If Sterling can maintain the form that he has showed so far this season, then there really is no reason for Southgate to exclude him from his tournament squad.
“I know the special qualities of the player,” his former manager Pep Guardiola was once quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
We have definitely seen those special qualities this season and he should get the chance to display them at Euro 2024.

For now, Sterling’s mind will be on the Premier League and trying to help Chelsea climb up the table. The Blues take on their rivals Arsenal on Saturday and Paul Merson is hoping to see the former Manchester City and Liverpool star start against his old side.
And based on how he played at Turf Moor, Chelsea supporters will be feeling the same.
It is a big game for the Blues, but hopefully Mauricio Pochettino’s side can grab the win and kick-start their season.
Mikel Arteta’s team will obviously be no pushovers, though, so everyone will need to step up on the day, including Sterling. Do that, and perhaps Chelsea will be able to end the game with all three points.
