Wesley Fofana has reassured Chelsea fans that he will be available for the Premier League match against Bournemouth at the end of the month.
Speaking to the 5th Stand, the defender revealed he felt fit and functional ahead of the return of competitive action on the 27th.
Fofana has been eyeing up this date ever since he sustained a knee injury against AC Milan at the beginning of October.

The 21-year-old had only just returned from a lengthy spell on the side-lines whilst still a Leicester City player when he was struck down by more poor luck.
He had accumulated a mere handful of minutes for Chelsea after swapping the King Power for Stamford Bridge in the summer.

That wound the Frenchman suffered in the 3-0 Champions League home win over Milan meant he has waited a while to add further appearances to his name.
Yet, following over two months of recovery and rehabilitation, Fofana sounds like he is on the verge of donning the Chelsea shirt once again.
“For me, I’m feeling good. I’m very happy to return to the team and the training. I’m ready for action and for the game,” said the defender.

This will only be good news for Graham Potter, as his first-team continues to restore in drips and drabs.
Like Fofana, Reece James has been absent through injury since October, but he too appears close to being an option for the manager.
Nearly all of the World Cup travellers are back at Cobham, with the exception of Hakim Ziyech and Mateo Kovacic, who both made the semi-final, the England trio of Mason Mount, Raheem Sterling and Conor Gallagher, plus Thiago Silva.
Potter will hope to put on a strong XI for the friendly with Brentford in four days’ time, to prepare the side for the Premier League contest against Bournemouth.
