Matt Miazga and Baba Rahman returned from the cold to join up with Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea squad ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Players are beginning to make way their back to Cobham in drips and drabs for pre-season, some familiar, some pretty much strangers.
A heard of loanees have swarmed upon the Surrey facility as they aim to impress their new manager.
Tuchel has plenty of fresh faces to assess, along with those he coached during his maiden Chelsea term.
Included in the newbie pile are Miazga and Rahman, who were pictured in training yesterday.

Both are members of the club’s large loanee army that has been spread far and wide across the world.
Neither have played a competitive match for Chelsea since 2016, making a combined total of eight different transfers whilst still on the Stamford Bridge books.
Miazga’s case is particularly poor.
He signed for the Blues five years ago, but only played twice before being shipped out to Vitesse Arnhem.

His subsequent whereabouts involved Nantes, Reading, and Anderlecht, where he spent the previous season.
Rahman meanwhile has played for Schalke, Reims, Mallorca, and PAOK following on from his last Chelsea match.
The left-back admitted he wanted to leave the Blues after falling out with Antonio Conte, yet insisted there were no regrets surrounding his £23m (Goal) move.

Now, the overlooked duo have under a month to let Tuchel know what they can offer and potentially wriggle their way into his group.
