A swarm of Chelsea supporters on social media wanted to praise the performance of Reece James versus Leicester City last night.
Goals from Antonio Rudiger and Jorginho ensured the Blues took a huge step towards Champions League qualification.
Rudiger was solid, Mason Mount was named Sky Sports man of the match, but Blues fans held a special mention for James.
Here’s how they reacted to the young defender on Twitter:
Thomas Tuchel decided to deploy James as a right centre-back for the second time against Leicester, a tactic he tried in the FA Cup final.
The 21-year-old was solid at Wembley and equally as sturdy at Stamford Bridge.
He held off the threat off Jamie Vardy, whilst also lending himself to Chelsea’s attacking movements.
According to Whoscored.com, James had 99 touches yesterday, more than anyone on the field of play.
Nobody for the Blues managed more interceptions (three) or clearances (4) than the England international.

Add to that a passing accuracy of 92.9%, James had a joyous evening in the face of the Foxes.
Although the overall result was massive, there will still be question marks hanging over Chelsea heading into the final day clash with Aston Villa.
Timo Werner’s failure to avoid VAR is one; the ease at which Leicester pulled one back another.
Tuchel won’t get caught up in too many celebrations just yet, as he knows full well the task of finishing inside the top four is not yet complete.
