Chelsea supporters on social media got a good chuckle out of Antonio Rudiger and Romelu Lukaku’s interaction after the Arsenal game.
One eagle-eyed watcher captured the comedic scene between the pair, where Rudiger decided to slap Lukaku’s head with a fair amount of force, seemingly as a way of congratulations.
This wouldn’t have been so humorous had a spray of sweat not left the Belgian’s head following his teammate’s interesting sign of affection.
Blues fans feel to their knees in laughter at the video and yet another random Rudiger moment.
Here’s how they reacted on Twitter:
Although it was certainly an unusual way to congratulate someone, Rudiger’s response was definitely justified.
Lukaku had a day to remember for all the right reasons against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
He was the centre of attention from start to finish, long before and way after the final whistle blew.
The striker’s goal 15 minutes into his second Chelsea debut signified that he is here to do business.

Only an excellent save from Bernd Leno denied the forward a second on opening night, but this didn’t detract from his overall performance.
Pablo Mari was dragged along for the ride, not that the Arsenal defender would have wanted a free ticket.
There isn’t much more to say about Lukaku’s display that hasn’t already been mentioned.
Whilst Chelsea followers can be thankful for his return, Premier League clubs will be wishing their own Arsenal doomsday doesn’t arrive anytime soon.
