Chelsea loanee Omari Hutchinson made a huge impression on the Ipswich Town fanbase with his performance last night.
Omari Hutchinson, who’s just 19, was sent out on a season-long loan this season to newly-promoted Championship side Ipswich.
The young attacker has been slowly introduced to life at Portman Road with cameo roles in the league and cup appearances, but he made his first Championship start on Tuesday night. He certainly made the most of it, too.
Hutchinson scored the winning goal in Ipswich’s 1-0 away win against Southampton. His performance even earned him huge praise in the local media.
Chelsea should be watching on delighted with Hutchinson’s progress in the opening couple of months of the season.
The left-footed playmaker’s patience was rewarded this week with his match-winning strike, so we can’t wait to see where he goes from here playing in a very confident team.
He’s got all the tricks in the book and is a fun winger to watch. It’s now about the youngster learning to be more efficient on the ball as he toughens up in a competitive Championship division.
