Marcus Rashford says it was a complete mistake that Conor Gallagher managed to make a mockery of him in England training.
Speaking to the Three Lions’ media channel, Rashford revealed the Chelsea midfielder inadvertently managed to nutmeg him in Qatar.
Any player who has allowed the ball to swim through their legs will usually have an excuse to share.
Whether it be an unintentional piece or skill, or a rebounded tackle that just happened to bounce between the ankles, it’s never the victim’s fault.

“To be fair I got megged today, but it was an accident. Conor Gallagher. I swear it was an accident! It hit his heel but they all count,” proclaimed Rashford.
Sometimes you just have to except you’ve been beaten, Marcus!
At least he can ride on the high of England’s exceptional World Cup opener against Iran on Monday.

The scorer then turned provided for Saka’s second of the fixture.
Arsenal’s young Gunner finished off a solo run after being supplied by Sterling.
Rashford himself announced his arrival from the bench with a calm conversion.
Jack Grealish sprinkled the sixth on the occasion at the end of the match.
