Bastian Schweinsteiger has hailed Thomas Tuchel’s excellent work since becoming the Chelsea manager.
Speaking on the BBC Football Daily podcast, Schweinsteiger wanted to shower his fellow German with praise for the job he’s done so far at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have been taken from a confusing mid-table Premier League outfit, to arguably the country and the continent’s finest ensemble in the space of ten months.

Players who looked dead and buried are now breathing a new lease of life.
Opponents rarely penetrate the fortress that protects Edouard Mendy’s net.
And although the goals don’t always fly in, they arrive at a pretty frequent rate.
In Tuchel’s 48 matches in charge of the Blues, his side have only failed to score eight times.
Ole or Tommy?
Other coaches could take a leaf out of the 48-year-old’s book, particularly Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Manchester United are in a pretty poor position under their former striker, despite his Old Trafford project approaching its fourth year.

The difference between the Red Devils and Chelsea is vastly stark, mainly down to the two men in the opposing dugouts.
“In my eyes, United are still in a progress, which Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is also mentioning,” said Schweinsteiger, who played for the Manchester club between 2015 and 2017.
“But, for me, it’s taken too long. In my eyes, other teams, especially City and Chelsea (have progressed quicker).
“You can see the impact which Thomas Tuchel has on the Chelsea team.
“It’s unbelievable because he knows exactly what the players need to perform, which kind of football they play.
“They have a strategy, they have a DNA, they have possession and also scoring goals. They have more in the game.”

A good indicator of the varying levels between Chelsea and United shall be revealed when they meet in the league next Sunday.
Tuchel’s men will be aiming to maintain their stronghold at the top of the division, whilst Solskjaer’s group need a win to stop their pretty rotten run of results.
