Chelsea winger Jadon Sancho did not name Cole Palmer as the best player he’s ever played with in a recent interview.
Sancho is only 24 years old and yet he already has stints with Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United and the Blues on his resume.
The Englishman also has 23 senior international caps so he has certainly played alongside many of the top talents in the game.
One player who must rank highly is Palmer but he was not Sancho’s answer to the question, instead choosing an ex-Man Utd man.

Jadon Sancho names Cristiano Ronaldo as best-ever teammate
Sancho was asked the following question in an interview with Sky Sports: Who is the best player you’ve ever played with?
The Chelsea star quickly weighed up his options before landing on one former Man Utd teammate who was particularly impressive.
“I’ve played with a lot of great players but if I had to choose one – it’s Cristiano Ronaldo,” he said. “What he talks about in his interviews is all true.
“To play with him was a real honour. Just his mentality… how he trains and goes into games. It’s really inspirational.”
Both Sancho and Ronaldo signed for United in the 2021 summer transfer window, which was supposed to be the catalyst for the Premier League title.
Unfortunately for the Englishman, he never found his feet in three seasons at Old Trafford. Meanwhile, Ronaldo had one impressive campaign before falling out with Erik ten Hag and departing for Al-Nassr.

Jadon Sancho says Reece James is toughest Chelsea opponent
Sancho was also asked: Who is the toughest to play against in training? Chelsea fans will not be surprised by his answer.
“I’d probably say Reece James,” he explained. “He’s good at reading play, especially what I do when I stop and start. He’s good at reading that… but not all the time.”
Given that Sancho’s best position is left-wing, one would assume that he goes up against right-backs Reece James and Malo Gusto more often than anyone else.
And we all know that James’ only weakness is his health because when 100 per cent fit, there is probably no better full-back in world football.
