James Maddison and Declan Rice couldn’t resist complimenting Ben Chilwell and Mason Mount for their Chelsea performance yesterday.
Both of the Blues England internationals got on the scoresheet during their teams 2-0 Champions League victory over Porto last night.
Mount opened proceedings with a fine finish in the first half, followed by a composed goal from Chilwell five minutes from the end.

It was the first time Chelsea’s talented duo had scored in a European competition, so it was certainly a moment to be savoured.
Their exploits were recognised on social media by a few Premier League compatriots.
Rice replied to Mount’s Instagram post with a simple description of his long-time friend’s execution against Porto.

Chilwell meanwhile got the praise off Leicester City’s Maddison, who needed just one word to summarise his former Foxes teammate.

Although it was a personal moment of pride for the pair, it also meant a great deal to Chelsea as a whole.
They needed to bounce back following their shocking 5-2 defeat at the hands of West Bromwich Albion last weekend.
Tuchel got an instant response from his side, who efficiently went about their business in the face of a tricky Porto outfit.
The Blues boss couldn’t have asked for much more than a two-goal away lead going into next week’s second-leg tie.
