Jamie Carragher has made a new claim about Chelsea after they thrashed Southampton in midweek to underline what a great season they’re enjoying.
Chelsea travelled to strugglers Southampton on Wednesday night with big expectations, and they didn’t disappoint.

Jamie Carragher makes new Chelsea prediction
Jamie Carragher has now tipped Chelsea to finish above Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in this season’s Premier League.
“I’m telling you, I think Chelsea are going to finish above Man City,” Carragher told The Overlap.
“They’re winning games with ease. The way they played against Arsenal, the way they played against Liverpool.”
Chelsea have moved up to second in the league standings after beating Southampton, which gives them a five-point cushion inside the top four posistions.
In terms of Man City, who ended their winless streak by beating Nottingham Forest 3-0 yesterday, they’re only two points behind Chelsea and Arsenal.
