Jason Cundy thinks Chelsea are going to record their second win of the Premier League season when they play Aston Villa this Sunday afternoon.
It’s been an underwhelming start to the season for Chelsea, picking up just five points from their first five league games.
Mauricio Pochettino has started his reign as Blues head coach by implementing some eye-catching football on the pitch, but the same issues of struggling to score goals still exists.
Next, the Blues welcome Unai Emery’s Villa side to Stamford Bridge this weekend. The Midlands club have nine league points on the board so far, but they did fall to a 3-2 loss against Legia Warsaw yesterday in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

TalkSPORT pundit and Chelsea fan Cundy is backing his club to edge past Villa on Sunday.
“I’ve gone 2-1 Chelsea… Villa weren’t great today [against Legia Warsaw]. I know it was a bit of a changed side, but in the wide areas, they look vulnerable. If Chelsea can dominate those areas, we’ve got decent wide men… 2-1,” Cundy told talkSPORT (10:54pm, 21 September).

Chelsea have won three of the previous four Premier League meetings between Chelsea and Villa, albeit the latter won the most recent 2-0 back in April at Stamford Bridge.
On paper, you could argue the visitors go into this weekend a marginal favourites despite playing away from home.
However, every Chelsea fan is just waiting for this talented young side to click into gear and find their shooting boots in the final third. We think a big win should be just around the corner, so hopefully this is it!
