Jason Cundy loved what he saw from Kai Havertz earlier this week in the Champions League, describing it as one of his best ever Chelsea performances.
Chelsea will be in the Champions League quarter-final draw after eliminating Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night.
Graham Potter’s side breathed new life into a difficult season by beating Dortmund 2-0 at home, which keeps alive their hunt for silverware.
Havertz, whose penalty put Chelsea into the quarter-finals, performed superbly at Stamford Bridge.
On top his goal, the 23-year-old attacker tormented Dortmund by popping up all over the final third and producing some quality moments on the ball.

TalkSPORT pundit Cundy thinks Havertz looked at his very sharpest in Chelsea’s win over Dortmund.
In particular, he loved some of the “elegant touches” and bits of skill from the Germany international
“I thought tonight [against Dortmund] was one of his better performances for Chelsea. Maybe he saves them for the Champions League. He was excellent as the game grew on, taking responsibility… I saw those elegant touches, those moments where there’s a little bit of brilliance,” Cundy told talkSPORT.
