Chelsea’s Premier League starting line-up has become a lot easier to predict this season than it was 12 months ago.
Some players have been ever-presents so far. Cole Palmer is one of those, however Chelsea are sweating on Palmer’s fitness ahead of the crucial game with Arsenal on Sunday.

Enzo Maresca seems to have kept loyal to some of those who have made an impact for him, and that has made it difficult at times for some of his fringe players to break in.
Moises Caicedo is another of these who has been undroppable this season, however this has not been the case for his partner in the middle of the park.

Romeo Lavia has come in for Enzo Fernandez in the last three league games, leaving the World Cup winner having to make his impact off the bench.
Jason Cundy predicts Enzo Fernandez won’t start for Chelsea vs Arsenal
He has even started games in cup competitions, a place where those who are missing out on Premier League starts are playing.
Jason Cundy has predicted he will start tomorrow night against Noah, because he won’t start against the Gunners.
He said to TalkSPORT: “Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo in Chelsea’s best team are the pivot, they are the two. Enzo Fernandez has got a real problem right now, that’s why he will start against Noah — because he won’t start against Arsenal..”
Is Romeo Lavia restricting Chelsea’s creativity?
Darren Bent is one of those who really rates the duo of Caicedo and Lavia, although the Blues have won just one game of the four they have started together.
While the pivot brings defensive security, there is perhaps too much burden on Cole Palmer to create for them going forwards.
Fernandez doesn’t have an assist to his name this season, but certainly provides another option in the attacking third when he plays.
There is no doubting his ability when he is at his best. Fernandez was described as ‘world-class’ just last season.
