Manchester City winger Jack Grealish has led the praise for Chelsea’s Cole Palmer after his call-up to the England senior team this week.
He commented on the 21-year-old’s Instagram page to congratulate him, alongside former England star Jesse Lingard.
Palmer earned a well-deserved call-up to the senior side this week, after a number of key players have pulled out of the squad.

This has included a number of players who play their club football at Stamford Bridge.
Gareth Southgate has already claimed that he was hoping to call up Reece James to the squad as he has begun his return to first team action.
However, the 23-year-old instead favoured focusing on making a full recovery for his club side.

Levi Colwill has also pulled out of representing his nation this week, after a shoulder issue which kept him out of the barnstormer against Manchester City at the weekend.
That game saw Palmer show everyone at Stamford Bridge exactly what he can do, including supporters of the side that were happy to cash in on him for just £45m over the summer.
Following his added time penalty, he was almost immediately called up to the England side for the upcoming EURO 2024 qualifiers.

After posting on Instagram regarding his achievement, Grealish and Lingard took to the comments to praise him.
With the Three Lions already securing their place at next summer’s tournament, there could be an opportunity for the youngster to make his senior debut this week.
One club teammate who wont be there is Raheem Sterling, after he was again snubbed by Southgate for a place.
This is despite him impressing domestically this season. The decision has left a number of pundits flabbergasted at the manager, especially when looking at the campaign others in his role have had.
