Joe Cole has questioned Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel for his decision during the second half of the 0-0 draw against Leeds United.
The Blues had to settle for a point on Saturday afternoon on their trip to Elland Road in a Premier League match.
It was another superb defensive performance to keep a clean sheet, while offensively they fell just short of the mark.
Pundit and ex-Chelsea star Cole claimed that manager Tuchel made a “strange” choice at the weekend.
He was confused over the decision to bring Callum Hudson-Odoi onto the pitch and play him in one of the two number 10 positions behind a striker.
The attacker entered the action in the 79th minute to try provide an extra attacking spark, but it didn’t happen for him in a brief cameo.
“A few strange decisions from Tuchel today when he was bringing on Callum, and he seemed to play central for part of it,” Cole told BT Sport 1 (2:40pm, 13 March).

A lot of Hudson-Odoi’s success so far under Tuchel has come when he’s been operating out wide, as he’s excellent one-on-one and loves beating full-backs to get to the byline.
But he dropped in as an inverted forward against Leeds, something he’s also done under Tuchel.
It was a decision made due to the fact that the manager had already put Reece James on the pitch as the right wing-back.
Hudson-Odoi, 20, is still developing as an extremely young talented player, but this season he’s perhaps looked more suited in the wing-back role.
