Former Chelsea star John Obi Mikel has now shared what John Terry did after being sent off in the Champions League in 2012 against Barcelona in the Champions League.
He claimed during his podcast with former boss Roberto di Matteo that the club captain was nowhere to be seen when the players were looking to celebrate following their monumental victory at the Nou Camp.
The Blues pulled out one of the best performances in their club history up against Lionel Messi and Barcelona.

After a first leg victory courtesy of Didier Drogba’s breakaway goal, they quickly found themselves staring down the barrel of a semi-final defeat.
Terry had been sent off for an off-the-ball incident, and the Blues were down 2-0 on the night.
What can only be described as a remarkable moment in the competition’s history, Ramires and Fernando Torres scored memorable goals to send Chelsea on their way to Munich.

Mikel and Di Matteo enjoyed reminiscing over those moments, and shared a joked when speculating what Terry was up to after the game.
Mikel said: “I didn’t even see him.”
Di Matteo replied: “I was going to ask you Obi, I had to do some press so I can’t remember, I don’t know.”
The former midfielder then joked: “He was probably still wearing his shinpads and his jersey boss, and his boots!”
Terry was therefore suspended for the final, where Chelsea were victorious on penalties against Bayern Munich in their own backyard.
Some incredible efforts from those on the pitch helped the Blues to their first of two Champions League wins so far, with the skipper joining the celebration in his full kit despite not featuring in the game.
