John Terry reacts to what Sergio Aguero did during Argentina celebration

Chelsea legend John Terry joked about Sergio Aguero’s celebrating in an Argentina kit after his country won the 2022 World Cup final.

The former Manchester City and Barcelona player was forced to retire last year due to heart problems, but he is certainly still very close to the current Argentina squad.

To be fair, if the 34-year-old had not retired, he might have made Lionel Scaloni’s World Cup-winning squad.

So, when he was on the pitch, celebrating in Nicolas Otamendi’s Argentina kit alongside the rest of the players, it was as if he was just one of them.

Terry, who did something similar in Chelsea’s 2012 Champions League final win, could not help but poke fun at Aguero, however.

“Aguero has gone for the full John Terry there hasn’t he?! I did it first!” the Chelsea icon told beIN SPORTS (via the Sun).

The biggest difference is that Terry was actually a Chelsea player at the time. He was just suspended for the final against Bayern Munich in Allianz Arena and the UEFA rules meant he had to change into his kit to lift the trophy.

Still, many poked fun at him for doing so and he is clearly aware of it.
