Alejandro Garnacho and Estevao Willian gave Wolverhampton Wanderers a torrid time on Saturday, with the former really catching John Terry’s attention.
Garnacho set up two goals as Chelsea went on to beat James Collins’ side 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.
Estevao also impressed against Wolves after coming off the bench in the second half. He has come in for a lot of praise since.
However, Garnacho is the individual Terry has been raving about after his latest performance in west London.

John Terry suggests Chelsea’s other wingers aren’t as direct as Alejandro Garnacho
Terry made it clear that he would not have wanted to play against Garnacho on Saturday.
The Chelsea legend thought that the 21-year-old was quick and direct, claiming that he brought something different to Chelsea’s other wingers.
“I wanna touch on how good Garnacho was yesterday,” Terry said on his TikTok. “Absolutely petrifying as a defender when you’re facing someone that quick, that direct. I think he gives us something the other wingers don’t as well.”
As much as Chelsea supporters love Terry, many will disagree with their former captain, largely because one of the other wingers at the club is Estevao.
At present, Enzo Maresca is a bit spoiled for choice in the wide positions. Jamie Gittens shone against Wolves last month in the Carabao Cup but played just seven minutes on Saturday.

Estevao Willian a trickier winger to deal with than Alejandro Garnacho
Garnacho certainly can be a very direct winger one-v-one, but Estevao also runs at his opponents with the ball and does it better than his teammate.
According to FBref, he has made 3.63 successful take-ons and 4.89 progressive carries per 90 minutes in the last year, putting him in the 99th and 84th percentiles respectively among attacking midfielders and progressive carries.
Garnacho, in contrast, is only making 1.35 successful take-ons and ranks in the 41st percentile. However, he does complete more progressive carries (6.12, 97th percentile).
They are both quite direct wingers, but Estevao knows how to beat his man, while Garnacho has not done too much of that over the past 12 months.
The Argentina international is looking confident again, though, so that may change.
