The majority of the Chelsea first team are away representing their countries as part of the second international break of the season.
This has left a few players the chance to impress Enzo Maresca, whilst the injured players have the chance to get closer to a return to fitness.
One of those is Reece James, who has not been able to make an appearance this season so far due to an issue sustained in pre-season.

Reece James to return to full training next week
The club captain impressed during the tour of the United States, even featuring in a new inverted role that suits the manager’s style of play.
Maresca admitted recently that he didn’t know when James would be ready to return, although there has now been some positive news coming out regarding his scheduled return.
Matt Law told ‘London is Blue’ that the full-back is due to return to full training as soon as next week.
He said: “Reece is due back in full training, all being well, next week hopefully. I’m always a little bit wary on these because it might be that there’s a little thing that happens and they decide to delay it again but I know the hope is to get Reece back into full training at some point.
“What we can be sure of is that they’re going to be damn careful with him, so just because he gets back into full training don’t necessarily expect him to come back as quick as another player.”
Chelsea will not rush Reece James back
Chelsea’s first game after the international break is against league leaders Liverpool, however the desire to protect the player will likely see him not involved whatever happens.
This is despite the Blues being without a couple of key defenders due to suspension.
Marc Cucurella and Wesley Fofana will both be absent, with the Spaniard claiming he feels he is being unfairly treated by officials this season.
For now though, it looks as if Malo Gusto will remain the starting option in the Premier League, with James’ comeback likely to begin in the Conference League and Carabao Cup.
