Kylian Mbappe responds to Chelsea player's 'dirty' plans ahead of France vs Germany

Kylian Mbappe has responded to Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger’s plans to compete with French forwards physically ahead of the Euro 2020 clash between France and Germany.

Rudiger has proved that his aggressive defensive style could work against many top strikers in the Premier League and the Champions League.

The 28-year-old is just never hesitant to get into duels with opposition attacker.

Unsurprisingly, Rudiger does not plan to change his approach ahead of potential battles against France’ renowned forwards.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

“On paper, France looks stronger, but that’s just on paper,” the centre-back said in his press conference (via DFB’s official website).

“They can be favourites, of course, they have strong strikers. We also have to be dirty sometimes and make our mark early.

“We have enough quality and are ready.”

Mbappe, however, did not seem fazed by Rudiger’s comments.

“Everyone fights with their own weapons,” he said in his France press conference (via L’equipe).

“Ours, we play together. If that’s what their weapons are, they’ll play with their weapons and we’ll play with ours.

“We’ll stay focused in our preparation. We’ll analyse them well to see their weaknesses and strengths and concentrate as much as possible to start this tournament well.”
