Chelsea make the short trip across London to face Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday in what is arguably both club’s biggest game of the season. A win would be of great significance for both teams – it could prove to be crucial in the race for the top four.

Here is the line-up Lampard should name to give his side the best chance of bringing all three points back to Stamford Bridge.

Kepa – James – Tomori – Rudiger – Azpilicueta

Despite some recent criticism, Kepa will keep his spot as Chelsea’s number one.

The defence has been a problem area for the Blue’s recently, and Tomori’s return to fitness could see a new centre-back pairing. The young English defender should be partnered by Antonio Rudiger, who has himself recently returned from an injury lay-off.

After being left out of the starting line-up in recent weeks, Reece James should be brought back in at right-back, with Cesar Azpilicueta moving to left-back. His leadership could prove important on Sunday.

Kante – Jorginho – Kovacic

N’Golo Kante will make up part of the midfield on Sunday. He seems to reach new levels in big games and is undroppable when fit.

He should be partnered by Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic. Jorginho has been exposed in the past against Spurs but has since adapted his game and should not be as vulnerable this time around.

Kovacic would come in for Mason Mount, who came under fire after a disappointing display last time out against Bournemouth.

Willian – Abraham – Pulisic

Lampard should name the same attacking three even though they blanked last time out

Despite a recent dry spell, expect Christian Pulisic to keep his place. Willian seems to love playing against Tottenham. He will no doubt be hungry for another goal, so he should start.

Tammy Abraham will now be fully recovered from the impact injury he suffered against Valencia. He will hopefully be back to his best to spearhead the Chelsea attack.
