Chelsea will be hoping that Thursday night’s outing at Stamford Bridge will be nothing more than a formality as far as they are concerned.
Enzo Maresca’s side have put themselves in a great position when it comes to reaching the semi-finals of the Conference League following a dominant first leg against Legia Warsaw.
The boss named a mix of top stars and young prospects in his side, with the highlight of the evening being the first senior goal for Tyrique George in the second half.
Maresca was a huge fan of Josh Acheampong’s performance, and both being snubbed again for the game against Ipswich Town suggests they will start against Legia.

Goncalo Feio has plan to produce comeback against Chelsea in Conference League
There should be no real issues for the Blues at Stamford Bridge, with their opponents needing to produce a comeback unlike many seen in the past in European football to knock them out of a competition they are favourites to win.
Legia manager, Goncalo Feio, has refused to give up on the tie though, saying to UEFA he believes the best way to target Chelsea is to not show them any respect, and try and become the dominant team with the ball.
He said: “We want to create chances. We will take it step-by-step, but it is better to stand up to Chelsea and play better when we have the ball. We want to write Legia history.”
Feio praised Todd Boehly’s project at Chelsea ahead of the first leg, as he gave a positive review on manager Maresca.

Chelsea expected to hand youth a chance against Legia Warsaw
A number of Chelsea youngsters have been seen training with the first team ahead of the Conference League game, with the strong position they find themselves in giving them a great chance at rotating.
As well as Shumaira Mheuka and Samuel Rak-Sakyi who have appeared before, Landon Emenalo has trained for the first time with Maresca as he waits to see if he gets the chance to make his Chelsea debut.
Reggie Walsh missed a key Under 18s game too in order to train with the squad, with him previously making the bench but never coming on for the Blues.
