Liam Rosenior thinks the international break has come at the right time for Chelsea, who lost their last match against Everton 3-0.
It has not been a good period for Rosenior and his side, with Paris Saint-Germain also knocking them out of the Champions League.
But how does Chelsea’s form heading into the March international break compare to the previous one? The Chelsea Chronicle has taken a look.

Chelsea’s record under Liam Rosenior in March 2026
To be blunt, Chelsea’s March has been a disaster. Again, they are out of the Champions League and have not been able to climb into the top five.
Who would you like to see replace Liam Rosenior if he gets sacked?
Comment below!
In total, the Blues have played seven games this month but have only managed to win two of them. One of those victories came in the FA Cup against Championship outfit Wrexham, showing how poor Rosenior’s men have been in both Europe’s elite competition and the Premier League.
So their record in March consists of just two wins and five losses after playing seven fixtures.
During this poor run, their manager has received a lot of criticism. Former Chelsea midfielder Emmanuel Petit recently slammed Rosenior for some of his actions in the dugout.

Chelsea’s record under Enzo Maresca in March 2025
It is fair to say that Chelsea fared significantly better last March under Rosenior’s predecessor Enzo Maresca.
They played fewer games but won more. Their record was four games played, three won and one lost. Of course, the fixture list was much kinder to them.
Chelsea did not have to play against PSG, taking on Copenhagen in the Conference League instead. They won both legs as well as one Premier League match versus Leicester City. The other game was against Arsenal, which they lost.
If you are a Chelsea supporter, those were happier times. Hopefully, Rosenior can bring the good days back after this international break, though that will not be easy looking at some of the club’s fixtures.
