Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp thinks former Chelsea winger Willian is one of the greatest players the Premier League has ever seen.
Jurgen Klopp was speaking to the Daily Mirror and the rest of the English media ahead of Liverpool’s game against Willian’s Fulham side tomorrow.
Willian is now 35 years of age, but the Brazilian is still getting the job done in the Premier League.
He made 27 appearances in the English top flight for Fulham last season and recently helped his side to a 3-2 win versus Wolverhampton Wanderers after scoring two penalties.
Jurgen Klopp hails Willian as a Premier League great
It is easy to see that Klopp is a huge fan of Willian.
“It is a really good football team [Fulham],” the German was quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror. “You have one of the greatest players the Premier League ever saw [Willian] still going and going and going.”

Is Willian really a Premier League great?
You can certainly make a case. According to the Premier League’s official website, Willian has made almost 300 appearances in the competition, scored 46 goals and provided 43 assists.
The former Chelsea star has also won Goal of the Month on two occasions but his biggest accomplishment is helping the Blues to win the Premier League title in two different seasons.
We think it would be fair, then, to put Willian up there, or at least up there with players in his position.
During his time at Chelsea, Willian did not score as many goals as Eden Hazard or Diego Costa, for example. But he was capable of cutting inside and curling one away, sometimes when the Blues desperately needed that moment of magic against a sturdy defence.
Mauricio Pochettino does not really have a wide man who can do that now, but the likes of Cole Palmer and Mykhailo Mudryk are still very young. With the right coaching and some practice, hopefully it is something that they can learn to do.
