Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi has now decided he wants his side to bring in Kalidou Koulibaly this summer.
He has reported that the recent Champions League finalist came to the conclusion that he wanted the defender on loan if a deal is possible.
It looks worrying for Koulibaly at Stamford Bridge, with the centre-back position looking stacked going in to next season.

Alongside the leader of Thiago Silva, the young stars of Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile will be no doubt improving in their second campaigns at the club.
Then, there is also Levi Colwill, who if he stays at the club will feel like a new signing that can lock down a position in the side for a long time.
It didn’t help that the Senegal international didn’t have the greatest campaign in his first season in the Premier League after his £33m move last summer.
Inzaghi wants Koulibaly
A return there could now be on the cards, with Di Marzio claiming that discussions at Inter led them to wanting to go for Koulibaly.
He said: During the market summit today Inzaghi and the club spoke about Kalidou Koulibaly. Inter will try to sign the defender on loan.

Meanwhile, journalist Daniele Vitiello has claimed that the manager believes the player’s ability to play in a back three makes him the perfect candidate.
He said: “The now imminent renewal of De Vrij and the confirmation of Acerbi do not remove the hypothesis Koulibaly (that the club wants to ask for a loan in the scheduled summit): for Inzaghi, the former Napoli player can also play third defense.”
The Blues would surely be more willing to accept a permanent deal for the defender, especially if an offer from Saudi Arabia comes in for his services.
