Chelsea have released their new away kit for the upcoming 2024/25 season, which has been met by an interesting set of responses from the club’s supporters.
The Blues are currently away on their pre-season tour of the United States, but the club has now officially shared their new away kit with the fanbase.
Chelsea’s new away design is described via the official website as ‘guava ice’, which is a lighter shade of orange. It includes a blue and orange trim on the sleeve, too.
It’s now back-to-back seasons at Stamford Bridge without any silverware, so let’s hope that the new batch of kits can bring some luck.

Chelsea fans compare new kit to England jersey
Many Chelsea supporters on social media are saying that their new away top is extremely similar to what England’s national team wore this summer at Euro 2024.
The latest England home top, which was also designed by Nike, has a very similar template to Chelsea’s design.
Here are some Blues fans on X reacting to the kit release:
One fan said: “What in the England kit is this.”
Another wrote: “It’s essentially the England kit in different colours. Nothing to get too excited about.”
One supporter posted: “When England wore something similar during the Euros it was cool but just because it’s Chelsea now some people has negatives to say. This kit is cold.”
Another claimed: “Why’s it looking like an England home kit?”
Finally, one fan shared: “Our very own England kit!”
What was Chelsea’s away form like last season?
Chelsea had a pretty average record away from home last year in the Premier League, so that’s something new head coach Enzo Maresca will need to address. In fairness, Maresca’s Leicester City team were the best travellers in the Championship last season en route to promotion, gaining 45 points from 23 away fixtures.
The Blues had seven wins, five draws and seven defeats from their league matches on the road. Incidentally, that was just the seventh best record in the top-flight division.
Here is Chelsea’s league record from the 2023/24 campaign in their away games:
| Games played | 19 |
| Wins | 7 |
| Draws | 5 |
| Losses | 7 |
| Goals scored | 33 |
| Goals against | 37 |
| Goal difference | -4 |
| Points | 26 |
