Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell have both sent messages to youngster Billy Gilmour after his Chelsea display on Thursday night.
The Blues booked their spot in the FA Cup quarter-finals last night with a 1-0 victory away to Championship opposition Barnsley.
Tammy Abraham’s second-half goal secured the victory for Chelsea, albeit in an underwhelming team performance.
Chelsea will host Premier League strugglers Sheffield United in the quarter-finals of the competition, as new manager Thomas Tuchel looks to win his first piece of silverware at Stamford Bridge.
Tuchel made 10 changes in the cup tie with rotation in his squad, with the inclusion of 19-year-old Gilmour an eye-catching one.
The Scottish central midfielder completed the full 90 minutes and showed some quality moments on the ball, including the pre-assist in the build-up to Abraham’s winning goal.
Gilmour posted on Instagram after the match and received love from some of his teammates.

The Chronicle View
Gilmour is now a fully integrated member of the senior squad at Chelsea and put in a solid display during his first minutes under Tuchel.
The ball-playing midfielder looked far more effective in the second-half when he found a bit more space in possession, which allowed him to show off his talent.
He’s currently stuck behind Mateo Kovacic, Jorginho and N’Golo Kante in the midfield pecking order.
But he should take encouragement from his first contribution under Tuchel and it looks like he’s a popular figure in the dressing room.
