Christian Pulisic made his highly anticipated come-back from injury last night for Chelsea during their Champions League victory over Malmo.
Pulisic replaced Callum Hudson-Odoi on the 74th minute, marking his first club appearance since the Premier League’s opening weekend in August.

Captain America’s revival
The 23-year-old had been nursing an ankle injury sustained whilst representing the American national team.
Two months of struggles and setbacks were finally put right yesterday.
Although the forward was only on for a flash, it was enough to warm the hearts of fans and teammates alike.
Mason Mount posted a message to Twitter in response to Pulisic’s long-awaited return from his pain and suffering.
Mount also shared his joy at full-time, after seeing his teammates pick up a 1-0 win.
Puli-sick no more
Although the moment was extremely poignant, making a cameo against Malmo is just a small step in the long journey ahead for the USMNT captain.
Obviously, avoiding any more physical wounds has to be top of the agenda.
His medical record since joining Chelsea in 2019 reads extremely poorly.
According to Transfermarkt, Pulisic has missed 42 matches for the Blues through differing damages.
Away from the treatment table, re-establishing his place in the squad will not be straightforward either.
Currently, he is pretty far down the attacking food chain.
Others have certainly capitalised on his absence, none more so than Hudson-Odoi, who provided the pin-point assist for Hakim Ziyech’s goal on Tuesday.

Ziyech is another enjoying a run in the side whilst Pulisic continues to find his feet.
Then there’s also Mount to contend with, although he has been suffering from illness recently.
Plus, Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner are expected to recover from their respective problems after the international break.
These are all obstacles Pulisic will have to overcome if he is to reclaim his regular Chelsea spot.
