Chelsea’s emphatic 6-2 win against Wolves on Sunday was highlighted by the performance of one individual in particular.
Noni Madueke scored a devasting second half hat-trick for the Blues, with Cole Palmer assisting all three of his strikes.
The weekend was an interesting one for the England U21 star, with him no doubt infuriating Wolverhampton and their people with an accidental social media post.

It ended up being a feisty game between the two sides, as Enzo Maresca registered his first victory as a Premier League manager.
One Wolves player who played his part in proceedings was Matheus Cunha, who clashed with Nicolas Jackson after he found the net to level the game at the time.
Cunha congratulates Madueke
The Brazilian has been a regular since his £44m move to his side, and even played a role in pinching Pedro Lima from under Chelsea’s noses earlier this summer.
He didn’t have many words to say though when talking about Madueke’s performance against his club at the weekend.
In an Instagram post by Fabrizio Romano summing up the weekend the winger had, Cunha simply replied: “Congrats.”

Madueke has certainly proven that he should be in the starting side for the coming games, with there being plenty of competition for places in the attack at Stamford Bridge.
Mykhailo Mudryk fails to impress for Chelsea
One player who didn’t take his chance against Wolves was Mykhailo Mudryk. Chelsea fans were not impressed by his performance before he was taken off at half-time.
His replacement, Pedro Neto, set up fellow substitute Joao Felix for his first goal since returning to the club, showing off the frightening strength in depth they have available to them.
Maresca will certainly face a tough test keeping everyone in the attack content with their minutes, and there is likely going to be at least one more player sometime soon whose future goes a similar way to how Raheem Sterling’s has turned out.
