Micah Richards has been full of praise for one Chelsea player after their recent home win over Crystal Palace.
He told ‘The Rest is Football’ that he believes Malo Gusto has the potential to be an outstanding player after watching him play earlier this week at Stamford Bridge.
Gusto found himself playing near enough a half in each full-back position against Palace, where his performance was equally impressive on both sides.

His attacking intent helped set up the opener for Mykhailo Mudryk, whilst he was defensively sound up against some tough opposition on the wings.
There will have been fears at Stamford Bridge when Reece James was back on the treatment table for as long as he is.
However, Richards has claimed that so far Gusto is doing more than enough to replace him.
He said: “I’ll tell you who was outstanding, Gusto the full-back. When he came in to the team 10 games ago and then got injured and Reece James came back in to the team and he was trying to play them both, and he was playing on the right a little bit. But he can defend and attack.
“He has got so much energy, he did so well for the first goal with the assist for the first goal. I just love him, he’s a modern day full back but he’s an old school one because he can defend as well.
“There were so many times Jordan Ayew would face him one vs one and he didn’t dive in, he waited, had patience and made the tackle at the last minute. I think he is going to be outstanding. He has got a bright future, he seriously has.”
Gusto is now surely a certainty for the Chelsea team who will look to navigate tomorrow’s tricky test away at Luton Town.
