Chelsea defender Benoit Badiahile has now suffered a fresh injury blow.
That is according to journalist Nathan Gissing.
Benoit Badiashile, 22, hasn’t played a single minute yet this season due to a hamstring problem.
The £35million centre-back (Sky Sports) will be a big boost to the side when he’s back fit, but there’s been a small setback during his recovery.

Badiashile is now training alone at Cobham and away from the Chelsea squad after being dealt this “minor setback” with his injury.
Gissing wrote on X: “Chelsea defender Benoît Badiashile sustained a minor setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury at the end of last week. He has now returned back to individual training, but is hoping to resume team training again next week.”
This horrendous pattern at Chelsea when it comes to injuries at the club is showing no signs of letting up.
It’s safe to say the fanbase are getting fed up and asking a lot of questions of the medical department.

The Daily Mail claimed two days ago that Chelsea hoped to have Badiashile back playing within the next fortnight. Let’s wait and see what this latest injury setback does for the timeline of his return, though.
Badiashile was a rare positive last season for the Blues, making a really positive impact after joining in the New Year.
We think the left-footed centre-half can force his way into Mauricio Pochettino’s best XI when he’s fit and firing again, so the sooner he’s back the better.
