Moises Caicedo has now taken to social media to praise his midfield partner Enzo Fernandez after Chelsea’s win last night.
The Ecuador International reposted the World Cup winner’s post on his story, with a handshake and fire emoji to suggest he believes they are forming a strong partnership in the middle.
Yesterday was an unfortunately rare occasion so far that Chelsea have been able to name both Fernandez and Caicedo in their starting side since they both joined the club.

The Argentine’s title of most expensive player in club history didn’t last long, as the 21-year-old joined for an even bigger fee this summer.
There is plenty of belief around the club that the duo can be important members of the squad for a long time to come, and getting them playing together often will be key to this success.
Caicedo message to Fernandez
Injuries have denied them up to now mostly, however the pair combining with last night’s player of the match Conor Gallagher gave plenty of reason to be excited.
All three were on show last night as the Blues finally returned to winning ways in the Premier League in the West London derby.

Two goals in as many minutes helped them on their way to all three points, and the three in the middle of the park completely dominated their battles all over the pitch.
Caicedo this morning took to Instagram to repost Fernandez’s own picture, hinting at just how much he is enjoying things at Stamford Bridge right now.
Many will be hoping that the injury he suffered late in the day will not be a serious one, although he did look like he was in a lot of pain when he hobbled off late.
