Trevoh Chalobah and several other players connected with Chelsea congratulated Christian Pulisic for his winner against West Ham United yesterday.
Captain America proved to be Thomas Tuchel’s hero at Stamford Bridge, scoring in the 90th minute to cause a tidal wave of celebration at Stamford Bridge.
Pulisic pops up for Chelsea
Before Pulisic entered the fray with just over quarter of an hour remaining, it looked like the Blues would be drawing a blank again on home soil.
However, Tuchel’s triple substitution including the young forward, Romelu Lukaku and Hakim Ziyech proved to be the difference on the day.
Lukaku drew the foul from Craig Dawson inside the penalty area that handed Jorginho the chance to claim all three points for Chelsea.

However, the Italian’s poor recent record from the spot continued, as he softly rolled his shot straight into the arms of Lukasz Fabianski.
Fortunately for the midfielder, Pulisic was on hand to spare his teammate’s blushes.
The 23-year-old slotted Marcos Alonso’s accurate cross past the West Ham goalkeeper with time almost up in the match.
That was his seventh of the season, but surely none will have tasted sweeter.
Man of the hour against the Hammers
Understandably, the USA international cemented the moment in history by uploading the action shot to social media.
‘Better late than never’ was a very accurate caption for the Instagram post, one that received a stream of kind replies.
Clearly still a Chelsea player at heart, Tammy Abraham jumped on board the Pulisic praise train.

Chalobah, who enjoyed a steady and sturdy afternoon, reminded everyone that his colleague remains part of the process, whatever some may think.

Danny Drinkwater demonstrated his loyalty to the Blues by posting a reply as well.

Whilst the goal will have meant a lot to Pulisic, the sentiment can only last so long if doesn’t start to rack up more minutes before the campaign concludes.
Manchester United away is the next task, a fixture Christian may be looking at quite intently.
