Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke have both taken to social media to praise Nicolas Jackson for his performance for Chelsea last night.

The duo took to Instagram to heap praise on the 22-year-old after he found the net for the first time in a while against Brighton last night.

Jackson was the difference between the two sides, as Chelsea picked up a much-needed victory at Stamford Bridge last night.

His goal will be a big moment for him personally, with it coming just as stocks in him were at their lowest.

The Senegal international had just one goal to his name up until now, despite starting every league game in the number nine position.

There was also frustration surrounding him after he picked up his fifth yellow card in the opening six league games at the weekend.

This has given him a ban, which he will serve for the next Premier League game against Fulham.

It seems as if he has impressed his teammates with his showing, with plenty taking to social media to praise his display.

Mudryk and Madueke were two of these, and the pair had very different evenings play out at Stamford Bridge last night.

In his third start in a row, the Ukraine international again impressed on the left.

He was regularly set free by Cole Palmer, who certainly made the most of his first start for the club.

Madueke however was not even selected to make the squad, which raised some eyebrows as he had been spotted training this week.

It emerged from Mauricio Pochettino that this decision was made by the manager as a choice thing, suggesting that the winger had not been reaching the required levels in training up to this point.
