Chelsea players continue to react on social media to Graham Potter’s sacking at Chelsea.

The dust is still settling on Sunday night’s decision from Chelsea to sack Graham Potter, who lasted just seven months as the club’s head coach.

There is not much time for the players to reflect because they’re back in action tonight. Bruno Saltor has stepped in as the interim boss and is preparing for Tuesday night’s Premier League clash at home to Liverpool.

Ben Chilwell sent a message on Instagram last night thanking Potter for his help. Also, Marc Cucurella uploaded a thank you message on Instagram to Potter.

Blues duo Noni Madueke and Wesley Fofana have now each spoken out with a short message for Potter.

“Will always be grateful to you coach. All the best truly,” Madueke wrote on his official Instagram story.

In addition, Fofana wrote on his official Instagram story: “Thanks for everything.”

We are definitely getting an insight into the player’s attitudes towards Potter with this string of messages, but it feels like a lot of the fanbase believe the correct decision has been made by the owners.

If every player in the Chelsea squad were to post farewell messages, Potter would need to spend all night on his phone to read them all.

What we’re saying is this squad is massive! It is something that didn’t help Potter out, too.

The likes of Madueke and Fofana are part of the new group of signings with a lot of potential, especially the latter.

However, the next full-time manager desperately needs help in the summer shipping out several players and trimming this squad down to a more reasonable size.

The 2022/23 campaign has been a serious rollercoaster ride for Chelsea fans so far, but it would be just typical for us to pull off a miracle in the Champions League.
