Andy Jacobs claims Nicolas Jackson should only be a substitute for Chelsea right now.
Nicolas Jackson, 22, has quickly established himself as a key player during the early weeks of his Chelsea career.
The young striker has started all four Premier League games this campaign under Mauricio Pochettino, scoring once in a win against Luton Town.
His performances certainly deserve more reward on the goal output, with his overall game impressing a lot of supporters. The Blues are short of options in attack right now due to current injuries to Christopher Nkunku and Armando Broja, though.

TalkSPORT pundit Jacobs suggests Jackson would only be a good option for Chelsea as someone to bring on as a substitute.
“He’s a second striker. He’s a good half striker… He reminds me of Kalou. He’s a decent enough player. I think he’s off the bench. If you play two up-front, he’s good with a big man,” Jacobs told talkSPORT.

We think we’ve seen enough from Jackson to suggest he’s better than just a bench player for Chelsea.
We’re looking forward to seeing how he copes with the pressure of competition for places from Broja after the international break, something that should be a good thing for both of them.
The Evening Standard recently claimed that Chelsea are already considering a move to sign Brentford striker Ivan Toney in the summer transfer window. If true, Jackson may only have a few months to cement his permanent spot in the XI and impress Mauricio Pochettino.
