Chelsea released some training pictures on Thursday – and some excited eagle-eyed fans on Twitter spotted Callum Hudson-Odoi with the group.
Blues attacker Hudson-Odoi, 20, was away during the international break with England’s Young Lions at the Under-21s European Championships.
Unfortunately, he was forced to return early to Cobham with a shoulder problem.
With Hudson-Odoi returning to Chelsea, it was unclear on the extent of his injury. But he’s been spotted with the main Chelsea group on Thursday.
Chelsea fans will need to wait a little longer for an update from manager Thomas Tuchel on him, but the signs seem positive.
His group are still unbeaten under him, and are preparing for a Premier League fixture this Saturday lunchtime at Stamford Bridge against West Brom.
Hudson-Odoi is someone who’s thrived so far under the German boss, impressing in both a wing-back and attacking role.
The speedster has so much excitement around due to the talent he can become, and could have a big role to play from now until the end of the season.
A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media are optimistic of getting to see him feature this weekend against relegation-threatened West Brom.
