Joa Santos has insisted that Jorginho would be staying put at Chelsea despite previously suggesting otherwise, speaking to Tutto Mercato.
Questions over Jorginho’s future at Stamford Bridge have been wavering for some time.
The 29-year-old joined Chelsea from Napoli in 2018 for £50m (BBC Sport), signed by his former Naples coach, Maurizio Sarri.
Before the start of last season, Calciomercato claimed that Jorginho had desires of returning to Italy after being overlooked by Frank Lampard.
Even with Lampard out of the hotseat and the Italian a regular under Thomas Tuchel, suggestions of his departure from London still lingered.
These were fuelled by his own agent, Santos, who told Kiss Kiss Napoli that a move back to Napoli for his client would be ‘possible’.
However, Jorginho’s representative put these uncertainties to bed by telling Tutto Mercato that the player was going nowhere.
Santos said: “He (Jorginho) has a two-year contract with Chelsea. He is thinking about playing at the European Championships.
“And then the World Cup in Qatar. He will remain at Chelsea, one hundred percent.”
Jorginho has been a key-figure in Tuchel’s revolution and one of many senior members of the Blue squad to be given a new lease of life.
He will certainly play a big part between now and the campaign’s conclusion with Chelsea fighting on all fronts in three separate competitions.

I’m actually quite glad Jorginho is sticking around to enjoy the party.
I don’t think he’s ever quite got the credit he deserves from fans.
The football forced upon him by Sarri didn’t help, then he wasn’t loved much by Lampard.
Now with Tuchel, a perfect relationship seems to be forming.
