Journalist Rudy Galetti has now claimed that Chelsea are discussing potentially signing Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.

He told GiveMeSport that the Blues are now internally talking about whether to launch a bid for the Serbian this summer.

There have been links to Vlahovic for the last six months now as Chelsea look to find the best option possible to solve their goalscoring woes.

The lack of goals last season eventually saw the Blues finish in the bottom half, and in a position where they need to strengthen again to climb back up to the table.

With Kai Havertz and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang likely to be on the move this summer, at least one addition is absolutely crucial in the position ahead of next season.

Galetti has now claimed that there is a consideration amongst the hierarchy at the club over opening talks over potentially signing Vlahovic.

Chelsea considering Vlahovic

He said: “The Arsenal player could become a concrete target in case of the farewell of Vlahović. Chelsea are internally discussing whether to make a concrete move for the Serbian striker soon, opening talks with the Italian club.”

It has previously been claimed that new manager Mauricio Pochettino is ‘desperate’ to bring in the 23-year-old this summer, as he continues to try and plot his perfect Chelsea side.

Recent reports have claimed that the Blues are closing in on a move for Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal.

Despite being just 21, the Senegal international has let his talent do the talking in the second half of the La Liga season, being crowned the player of the month at the end of the campaign.

The Blues should be looking at signing a more established option as well as Jackson, even with the addition of Christopher Nkunku to join the attack.
