Jason Cundy raved about the performance from Chelsea’s Cesar Azpilicueta in the win against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Graham Potter decided to make seven changes to his starting XI during Saturday’s game against Wolves, so there was certainly some nervous supporters at Stamford Bridge for the Premier League match.
However, the Blues recorded a strong 3-0 home win to continue their recent success.
Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic and Armando Broja all scored to surely boost their own chances of playing more.

Cundy raved about Azpilicueta
Chelsea’s club captain, Azpilicueta, was among those recalled to the starting line-up against Wolves.
The 33-year-old defender slotted into the role as the right-sided full-back, which allowed Reece James to start on the bench.
It was a really eye-catching performance from Azpilicueta, especially in the first-half, with his tireless running up and down the pitch.
“Azpi was outstanding… He’s come in, ‘I need a big performance from you, skipper’, and boy did he deliver,” Cundy said.
“Up and down, it’s not his game, that’s not his strength, but my God.
“Had Reece put in that sort of performance in the first-half, we would be saying ‘Well played Reece.’ That’s how good he was.”

Important member of squad
Azpilicueta started the opening game of Potter’s reign, before being left on the bench for the next two.
However, he showed his professionalism and quality on his return to the side at home to Wolves.
It’s hard to picture the Spanish defender being included in the best line-up right now, but there’s no doubting the senior figure is still really important to this group.
With the sheer amount of fixtures, don’t be surprised to see him coming in and out of the team to good effect.
Todd Boehly reportedly played an important role in Azpilicueta signing a two-year contract in August, so there is definitely a big role to play for him still moving forward.
