Chelsea have already parted ways with one of their big name players this summer, and are expected by some to do so with another before the end of June.
Marc Cucurella had been one of the first names on the teamsheet as far as the Blues were concerned for a number of seasons, although his time at Stamford Bridge has been brought to an end.
The left-back has joined up with Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid, with the draw of joining one of the Spanish giants still too high for some players to turn down.
Reece James as a central midfielder or a right-back under Xabi Alonso?👀
The million pound question!
Enzo Fernandez expected to leave Chelsea before the end of June
This seems to be the case with Enzo Fernandez, who has made his desire to move to the Bernabeu no secret for a number of months now.
Despite the fact that Fernandez wanted his future sorted before the World Cup, Simon Phillips believes he will get his wish to leave sooner rather than later.

He said on the SPTC YouTube channel that he believes the Argentine will follow Cucurella to Madrid before June comes to an end.
He said: “I think Chelsea will try and sell him before the end of June. Yeah. So, I think we’re going to hear something about that. I don’t think Cucurella would have gone there. Obviously, it’s Real Madrid, so you know, there is that element, but I think he’s gone there knowing that Fernandez is coming with him.
“So I think that is, you know, like a double deal kind of thing. I just think that that Real Madrid and Chelsea have got to confirm the fee that they’re going to pay for him basically.”
Chelsea have maintained their stance that they want £120m to part ways with their midfielder, after smashing their own transfer record at the time to sign him.
Nicolas Jackson can thrive under Xabi Alonso 🔥
He was a threat for Senegal against France!
Replacing Enzo Fernandez will be difficult for Chelsea
No matter how much of an influence Xabi Alonso is having on these deals, he will be gutted to lose two of the club’s top players before he even takes charge.
Fernandez has proven to be the go-to man on big occasions for Chelsea. He was described as a ‘warrior’ by Joe Cole after their FA Cup semi-final victory against Leeds United, where he scored the only goal.
The goal contributions will also be a tough part of his game to replace for the Blues. He scored 15 goals and assisted seven in all competitions.
