Chelsea loanee Cesare Casadei endured a very tough evening last night in Leicester City colours.
The local media in Leicester certainly didn’t hold back with their criticism of him.
Leicester suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Leeds United on Friday evening in the Championship.
However, it’s worth pointing out that they’re still miles clear at the top of the Championship table, winning 13 of their opening 15 league games.

Tough night for Chelsea loanee
Cesare Casadei, who’s just 20, is currently on a season-long loan at the King Power Stadium.
The Chelsea-owned midfielder has joined high flyers Leicester to experience regular first-team football in England, which he’s done with relative success so far.
However, it was a poor evening from him with a sloppy and quiet individual display during Leicester’s defeat versus Leeds. He was taken off midway through the second half after a frustrating game.
The local media ripped into Leicester’s box-to-box midfielder for letting a big fixture in the Championship get the better of him.
Leicestershire Live wrote: “Cesare Casadei: He looked completely overwhelmed by the big occasion. The game largely bypassed him, and when one good chance did fall to him inside the box, he messed up his touch. He lost Georginio [Rutter] for the Leeds goal too. 4/10.”
Cesare Casadei has a lot to learn
We’ve watched plenty of Casadei’s performances this season in Leicester colours, including yesterday against Leeds.
When he’s in full flow, the Italian midfielder looks a class above with great physical and technical attributes. In particular, the midfield powerhouse has a huge frame and covers the ground quickly.
However, there’s no denying the youngster can still be a bit timid within this possession-based Leicester line-up.
This year in the East Midlands for him is all about learning, so we expected a few bumps in the road.
Speaking via Leicester’s official club website last month, Casadei admitted that he had no doubts about joining Chelsea when they came knocking in the summer.
Our guess is that it may take another season or two before we see a first-team breakthrough at Stamford Bridge.
