Patrick Vieira commented on the part Kepa Arrizabalaga played in securing a win for Chelsea against Crystal Palace.
Speaking to BBC after his side narrowly lost 1-0 at Stamford Bridge earlier today, Vieira observed the role of the rival goalkeeper in the result.
Kepa rewound the form he demonstrated during the early stages of the season through some superb saves in South West London this afternoon.
The 28-year-old was called into action on numerous occasions by Palace, but stood tall to the task at hand.

He palmed clear a strong header at the very end of the first-half, and came up trumps again towards the end of the game.

Cheick Oumar’s excellent volley with five-minutes remaining looked destined to nestle in the top corner, had Kepa not pulled out a wonderful flying stop.
Tyrick Mitchel was also denied by the Spanish ‘keeper during the opening 45-minutes, another Palace player to be frustrated.
Thanks to this string of refusals, Chelsea were able to clinch the three points via the head of Kai Havertz.
“Both goalkeepers made some really important saves, some big saves. Unlucky for us, we couldn’t score today,” remarked Vieira on Kea’s contribution to the contest.

Graham Potter will certainly be thankful for his goalie’s performance.
Palace still created numerous chances, yet Chelsea secured just their sixth clean sheet of the season.
