Chelsea are reportedly on the brink of completing their biggest signing of the summer transfer window so far, and many of the club’s supporters have the exact same theory.
Chelsea have been busy adding plenty of new faces for over a month now. However, the Blues are now tipped with making a real statement that tops the lot.
Journalist Fabrice Hawkins was the first to break the news on Friday via X that Wolverhampton Wanderers star Pedro Neto is set to join Chelsea.
Meanwhile, TalkSPORT has since reported that Neto will undergo a Blues medical on Saturday ahead of a transfer to Stamford Bridge worth £51.4m plus bonuses.
The 24-year-old winger, who’s effective on both flanks, is heading to West London after five successful years with Wolves. Hopefully, the Portuguese forward is ready to kick on with the next step of his career and torment Premier League defences in a Chelsea shirt.

Chelsea fans agree Pedro Neto is a perfect fit
Chelsea supporters on social media are agreeing that Wolves’ Neto is the “perfect” fit for their system in the new season.
There’s still a medical and an official announcement to come, but the Blues fanbase is already excited about how the skilful wide player will fit into their XI. Many of them agree he’s well suited to new head coach Enzo Maresca.
Here are Chelsea fans on X praising the Neto transfer:
One fan said: “Pedro Neto is the perfect winger for our new system, and is superb when fit. My biggest concern: his injury record.”
Another claimed: “Pedro Neto is the ideal player to fix our LW issue and moreso a perfect winger for Enzo Maresca’s system. This will be incredible signing for us! The only problem is his injury record. Otherwise, he’s class!”
A third user posted: “Pedro Neto’s a PERFECT player for Maresca’s system. No Olise? Not an issue.”
One supporter wrote: “Neto seems like a smart signing talented, suits the system and good age however. Neto’s main position is on the right so how well will that translate to the left (if thats where he plays).”
Another shared: “I’d happily take Neto as our big signing this season. He’d fit our system perfectly.”
How does Pedro Neto compare to Chelsea’s players from last season?
Neto may have had his injury problems last season, something Chelsea fans have flagged above, but he was still extremely effective for Wolves when he was on the pitch.
It’s quite interesting to see how he compares to the players he’ll soon call teammates.
