Chelsea have begun their preparation for the Champions League final against Manchester City despite two key players’ absences in Monday’s training.
There are only a few days left before the Blues will travel to Portugal for the biggest game of their season.
Thomas Tuchel clearly does not want to waste any time as his team is already back at the Cobham training ground after the disappointing defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday.

Two key players; N’Golo Kante and Edouard Mendy, however, were still missing from the group.
Kante suffered a tight hamstring during the win over Leicester City last week which ruled him out of the trip to Villa Park.
While Edouard Mendy hurt his ribs after colliding with the post during the Villa loss and had to be replaced by Kepa Arrizabalaga at half-time.

Speaking in his press conference on Monday afternoon, Tuchel is hopeful that the pair could join in with the group on Wednesday.
Interestingly, Petr Cech also joined in to help with the training.
Given his experience in the competition, including his heroic display in the 2012 Champions League final in Munich, his input would certainly be helpful, especially for the younger players.
