Petr Cech names his favourite Chelsea manager he played under as well as Jose Mourinho

Petr Cech has now named the managers he most enjoyed playing under throughout his career, with both of his options coming from his Chelsea days.

Speaking to Sky Sports last night, the club legend named another figure alongside Jose Mourinho as the best coach he ever worked under in his career.

Cech was providing punditry for the Blues’ Premier League game against Crystal Palace, where they required late goals from Conor Gallagher and Enzo Fernandez to confirm the win.

His goalkeeping analysis was top draw, with him pointing out how current shot stopper Djordje Petrovic could have perhaps done better to save what looked on paper like a stunning strike.

At the end of the game, Dave Jones and Jamie Carragher conducted a quickfire Q&A with the big man, where they asked him who is favourite manager to work under was.

While he obviously mentioned Mourinho as one of the top two, he also named Carlo Ancelotti on par.

The Blues had plenty of success in the brief time the Italian was in charge at Stamford Bridge, with them winning the Premier League as well as the FA Cup.

He has clearly gone on to great things in the management game since then, with his success at Real Madrid unprecedented.

Cech on favourite manager

It has been reported that his future in Spain is unclear, with no one yet knowing what is set to happen at the end of this season.

However, having the opportunity to manage Jude Bellingham this season may have increased his appetite to stay on for another year at least.

The previous Chelsea transfer target has been one of the best players in world football this season, and has proven why the Blues were one of a number of elite clubs who were looking to bring him in before this season got underway.
