Chelsea extended their winning run at the weekend by producing a superb comeback victory at London rivals Tottenham.

Chelsea responded to a two-goal deficit to end up winning 4-3 away at Spurs on Sunday.

The Blues have now won four consecutive matches in the Premier League, which has lifted them up to second in the division table. Remarkably, the media is now talking about the club as genuine title contenders.

Yet again, Enzo Maresca proved his influence as the Chelsea manager with some impactful tweaks during the game. According to Sky Sports pundit Sue Smith, Maresca’s half-time change at Spurs helped Chelsea gain more control, with Malo Gusto introduced at right-back during the interval.

Jamie Redknapp described Chelsea’s Palmer as an “absolute joy” after his performance versus Spurs over the weekend. On top of his two spot-kicks, he ripped apart the opposition with some individual moments of sheer brilliance on the ball.

According to Rio Ferdinand, Chelsea star Palmer “destroyed” Spurs defender Destiny Udogie in their recent battle.

Cole Palmer the complete package

Palmer is making such a huge contribution to Chelsea’s season as an attacking force. For those who doubted if he could follow up last year’s incredible debut campaign with the Blues, he’s responded by raising his levels even further.

Alan Shearer claims Chelsea attacker Palmer is “phenomenal” and the difference-maker for his side.

If the England star continues in this form, the sky is the limit for this exciting young Blues team this season.

It’s very reminiscent to when Chelsea supporters used to turn up every week knowing Eden Hazard would get them off their seat with a bit of magic. Even when Palmer isn’t scoring or assisting, he’ll do something spectacular during a game you’ll remember.
