It might be easy for Chelsea supporters to forget actual football matters considering the events of the past week.
Amongst the maze that is Roman Abramovich’s decision to sell the club, Thomas Tuchel’s squad have been preparing for a Premier League match.
A contest that cannot be approached half-heartedly.
No time to be singing the blues
The Blues travel to Burnley tomorrow, hoping to provide fans with a welcome distraction from all the outside noise.
Sean Dyches’ stubborn side will simply not roll over and allow their guests to Turf Moor a free pass, however.
They demonstrated this reluctance to play nice earlier in the season, when they held the Champions League holders to a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.

After Wednesday’s narrow 3-2 win over Luton Town in the FA Cup, Chelsea’s next task isn’t going to be any easier.
Drop points on Saturday and the league title charge can officially be put to bed, if it hadn’t already.
For this reason, Tuchel will almost certainly set out a strong line-up to face the Clarets.
Some might argue that each and every different XI the German assembles would comfortably better 90% of the other teams in the division.
To a strong degree, this is true.
Yet, at numerous times across the campaign, Chelsea have been unable to field arguably their best 11.
Tuchel might actually be able to do that at Burnley’s ground, thanks to the personnel potentially available to them.
Chelsea stars up and running
A handful of senior players did not journey to Luton mid-week, following their mammoth effort in the Carabao Cup final only a few days prior.
Thiago Silva, Trevoh Chalobah and Kai Havertz, all who played the full 120-minutes plus penalties against Liverpool, were allowed to rest their weary bones.
Not for long, though, as Chelsea’s cameras captured them in action yesterday ahead of the upcoming league fixture.

Perhaps the most welcome of returnees was Hakim Ziyech.
The Moroccan’s excellent form hit a hurdle as he suffered an injury in the Champions League knockout tie with Lille last month.
He didn’t feature in either of the two resulting games but appears ready to challenge Burnley.

There was no sign of Marcos Alonso, another who missed the Luton clash.
Ben Chilwell is of course still in recovery. Other than that, Chelsea should have a full ensemble.
