Geovany Quenda showed his versatility against Northern Ireland

Geovany Quenda provided a masterclass in versatility during Portugal Under-21s’ comfortable victory over Northern Ireland, laying bare exactly why Chelsea accelerated his transfer.

Operating fluidly across the frontline, the 19-year-old opened his account by drifting dangerously inward from his natural home on the right flank to finish with composure.

Later in the contest, Quenda seamlessly switched sides to exploit space off the left wing, showcasing his off-ball intelligence to strike his second of the night and cap off a promising performance.
